We are an all Mac company and use HP 4050N printers over our AppleTalk network. I'm curious what printers other users are running. We are having some issues with C&P printing to the HP printers and are thinking of changing brands.

We print from PCs and have no problem printing to an HP. The problem we have on some reports is that the way some of the programs are written, we're not able to print on legal paper from a PC - we have to go to a Mac to print out some reports. We use an HP5000 or 5500, something like that.

We currently use a HP2100TN. What printing problems are you experiencing? I'm curious because I have to print a balance sheet in between each invoice I print or else I get an untold number of copies of a one-page invoice or of page 1 of a multi-page invoice. It's frustrating.

Four 4050 TN's, one 8000 TN and a networked Ricoh Copier. No problems here. What is happening for you? I have found that the best thing to do is use the Adobe PS printer drivers and allow desktop spooling.

We use GCC, Brother, and Xerox printers. Overall the printing results from C&P are fine, but we do have an issue with the GCC 12/200 where it mysteriously forgets to print a few lines on job tickets.

The printer tries to print 196 copies, and does not print from the tray chosen in the "Print..." dialog box.
Some users report success when printing to screen first.
We are going to install a GCC Elite XL 20/600 and see if it will solve the problem. I'm also going to try using the Adobe PS driver in the Chooser. We are in the process of adding a print server to our Minolta Copier, perhaps we will have success with that too.

I print from a Epson Deskjet for checks and the format is off. I have made several attempts to change parameters with no luck. Anybody have a clue why?
