Can anyone tell me if there is something I need to do or download to print C+P reports to a USB printer?

We have the same problem on one of our USB printers. What we do is print the report to the screen and then from that window, we print the report. It seems to work that way. When we try to print the report directly to the printer, the system kicks us out of C&P. We are using a HP Deskjet 672 printer. This is the only printer that gives us any problem. I hope this helps!

There shouldn't be. If the printer is properly installed, your system should recognize the printer and offer it as an option in the print and page setup windows. You should then be able to select the printer and print as usual. USB connections are great when they work, and they usually do. But USB standards are still a little loose, and conflicts with other USB devices are fairly common.

Can you tell me which report you are having trouble with, and which version of C&P you are using (PC/MAC?) We are currently at 4.0.5 (PRO). On the PC side, when we try and print a job summary report, if we preview it on screen first and then print it, C&P will crash. I don't know if a fix made it into the current version, I reported the problem in early April. ...and I don't use a USB printer: C&P shouldn't care, the USB part of the printer interface is handled by the System. While USB printers generally work, there are some exceptions -
-I know of one person who has an Epson 900 series ink jet that he was unable to use with USB under Windows 98 SE.

I'm using Job Tracker 4.04 on a Mac. The printer is a Deskjet 810C. Nothing will print from C&P to the printer - the printer functions fine in all other apps. The error message I get is disk error -43
