PDFing in C&P Classic Through OSX

12:54pm Sep 2, 2004 PST (#1 of 2)

Hi. We are using C&P Classic 5.0.6 which is running in Classic under OSX 10.3.4. We have a copy of Acrobat 6 Standard on each machine. Our problem is that we want to be able to make PDFs out of C&P. We installed the PDF Printer Driver Plug-in under OS9 but I am not sure whether this plug-in recognises Acrobat 6 as it says it cannot find Distiller. Has anybody managed to make this work without upgrading to the OSX version of C&P? We are getting desperate here. Thanks in advance.

The easy way I know of to do this is to: Under SSOIIsetup a create a folder on the SSOIIddesk top called "PDFs" or of the sort. Enable folder actions and set the folder to convert .ps files upsPDFs. Then under OS 9, setuSOa custom printer to put postscript files into that folder.
