Free Block Structure Damage Weekly |

We have experienced free block structure damage sometimes multiple times a day. We have 5 users on the database, 1 WinXP, 2 Win98 and 2 MacOS X. We've gone through the supplied Database Guide, but still have problems. We are currently hosting the database on a 9600/350 running AppleShare IP 6.3 and this seems the most "stable". We have also tried hosting the database on a 1.1ghz PIII Win2k server and a Win98 workstation converted to be dedicated. Network is 1000/100 switched.

We get that problem several times EVERY day
I am hoping the upgrade to CP 5 will take care of it.

There are a number of causes for this error message. The best thing to do is call the helpdesk immediately upon seeing this. Upgrading to version 5 should have no effect, as this error relates to damage in the database itself and is not affected by versions of the program.
Faulty hardware, networking issues, and improper setup of Clients & Profits are all potential contributors to this error message.
