Report for Job Status

We are trying to figure out a way to come up with one report to use for our daily Production Meeting. It seems that C&P does not give you the option of editing or customizing any of their existing reports.

What we would really like to be able to do is to add a column in the Daily Job Status Report for the Creative Artist who is working on the job. We'd also like to be able to sort on this column. That way we would have a list by CA of what everyone is working on!.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Since you have Clients & Profits Pro you have the ability to create custom reports with these specific details you looking for. In your Manager's Manual, chapter 4 is devoted to custom reports. The following page has samples available for download:

I did something very similar to this by creating custom reports. My production meetings run by custom reports now, and it is also how I keep track of jobs to be billed.

We have used both custom reports and have also hired Rebecca Cox, a C&P consultant, to write reports for us. Ms. Cox provides a great service and a great product at a reasonable fee. This is her e-mail if you would like to contact her directly.

We are just beginning to utilize C&P Classic and need a daily job status report that combines production status with job schedule dates. The Job Hot Sheet is good for the status of current jobs at a glance, but I'm trying to find one that is more detailed...without having to manually enter dates/updates daily. Any suggestions for the Classic program, since it doesn't have custom reports? Thanks!
