Multiple Companies Using Profit Centers

Does anyone currently use profit centers to track multiple companies = under one database. If so, are there any concerns or issues we should = be aware of before setting this up? Please advise.

We have profit centers for different entities. We have separate task codes for each company so we can identify time which needs to be transferred. In order to use the proper task codes for each company, the profit center must be designated in the job specs, otherwise any task code can be used. The chart of account also needs to be designated for each profit center.

We have multiple divisions to our company (i.e. Sales offices in Orlando, San Diego, Detroit, Baltimore) ... We set up a separate C&P database for each.
