Do You Use The Markdown Report? |

Please let me know if anyone is using the report for Markdown and explain how and why you use.
Also let me know if you use the Write-Off report and explain how and why.

We do not use the Markdown report. We do use the Write Off report. We change the bill status code to Write Off whenever we do a New Business job. The report lets us track how much we spent on new business.

I use write-off report when costs come in after I've billed a job and I want to adjust WIP. 99% of the time I've billed the client enough to capture the costs, but I still call it "write-off" so I can capture all the costs on one report. Then I can look at each entry to confirm that we billed enough and I'm not leaving anything on the table.
