Window Envelopes

We have just started using C&P. For statements and invoices, has anyone found a good double window envelope that shows the agency's return address and the client's address? We are trying to get away from hand-writing envelopes.

Appreciate any feedback.

Nothing yet, but I wish I had asked this question months ago. We've had to create and update a separate database to print envelopes for statements and invoices. What a drag! Does anyone have a solution?

I have ordered Deluxe envelopes in the past. Not a double window, but a single window with the agency name and address at the upper left corner. The Estimates, Invoices, PO's, and Statements can be used -- you just have to come up with the folding technique. The end result is very professional looking and time saving!

Order your checks from Deluxe Forms. they have envelopes made for the checks that C&P uses.

We print sheets of labels for our clients so they are always accessible. We have envelopes with our company info. already printed on it. If you don't want to go to the expense of the printed envelopes you could buy an inexpensive stamp with your return address on it. Another suggestion is to check with the company Deluxe Business Forms (800-328-0304). We get our laser checks and double window envelopes from them. Maybe they make an envelope that would work with the invoices and statements. Good luck.

We're investigating custom window envelopes. With imprinted return address. The time and energy to hand write addresses and create separate mail merge databases is ridiculous. Not to mention the printer jams while loading our heavy gauge envelopes is driving me crazy!!!

Cost of custom envelopes should be cheaper in the long run. I hope.

We use our company window envelopes and fold the invoices/statements so the clients address shows in the window. We have had no problems.

We use #10 window envelopes with preprinted name and address in the upper left hand corner. When clients and profits upgraded and added "campaign and brand" to the insertion, it threw off the fold for insertions and purchase orders. Up until that time, it folded perfect. I have put this on my wish list, but so far no change. Invoices do not seem to be that great a problem.

We print our invoices and statements on 60# white stock pre-printed with our logo and address in the upper left corner and either "INVOICE" or "STATEMENT" plus phone, fax and URL in the upper right corner, across a 1 3/8" border of the corporate PMS color that shades from 10% on the left to solid on the right. These work well in a Safeguard Business Systems SGCE-2093 double window envelope. However, I believe you would have to change some of the default parameters of the invoice and statement in order to do something like this. Check with C&P tech support for this.

We use the Deluxe check #080900, customized with our logo and address in the upper left corner of the check body, and the corresponding double window envelope.
