Improvements

All of the improvements you see in Clients & Profits come from our own research into agency best practices and from the suggestions from the thousands of C&P users worldwide. Together we're able to produce the most powerful, most efficient, more productive agency management software available anywhere. New features in C&P X 10.2 are highlighted below.

MEDIA

New! Interactive orders can now have many buy lines New! The Media Link now imports run dates from selected media buying systems The new Media Accrural/Open Orders WIP Summary report The new Media Billed Commissions Summary report analyzes commissions earned for each client's billed media orders
PRODUCTION/TRAFFIC

New! Skipping Saturdays & Sundays on job schedules can now be a system preference New! Snapshots > Division Profitability report can now be printed for one division (thanks: westonmason.com) New! Sales tax can now be included on purchase orders New! Printed change orders now share the same printing options, including roll-ups, as the job's estimate (thanks: lorel.com) New! CLIENT BILLING

SNAPSHOTS

SETUP/PREFERENCES/SYSTEM MANAGEMENT

New! Tooltips can be disabled for individual C&P users in the Users, Access & Passwords window New! Preference > A4 paper (thanks: mindfield.net.au) New! The company calendar now shows staff members who have scheduled time-off New! All of the C&P e-mails are now sent with a normal priority, not "urgent" (thanks: fireandrain.com) There's a new preference to notify AEs every morning via e-mail about tasks that exceed estimated hours A new "admin" option allow selected system managers to change preferences, user access & passwords, and Database Utilities Only admin users can register Clients & Profits X databases (although users can activate their workstations) PNG graphics can now be used to share high resolution logos between Macs and PCs Clients can have many different billing or shipping addresses, each with its own sales tax rate The Client Account Information window can now store a logo or photo, which will display on the Clients window Printing PDFs on Windows no longer requires any setup Passwords now appear blocked out in the Staff window The new Canadian cheque stock can now be printed A standard task can now be entered when adding new staff members. Status codes can now belong to a new "billing" category. Groups can now be renumbered Any of the Information Center shortcuts (e.g,. time card, daily job status, etc.) can now be set as a user's startup window The date and user initials are saved each time a vendor account is edited A task in the Task Table can be quickly renumbered by choosing Edit > Re-number A user with the access privileges can now add expense reports for other staff members. Internal charges is now a separate user access privilege A new "accounting" access privilege controls which users can runthe Re-number utility A new "accounting" access privilege controls which users can run the Verify/Recover utility A "don't show sales tax on estimates" option in Preferences > Estimate Options will hide sales tax amounts on printed estimates A new "show cost amounts + rates for time on windows, reports" access privilege prevents staff members from seeing cost-per-hour rates and labor cost amounts.
