Downloading Mac files:

Macintosh files on the Clients & Profits X web site are compressed Stuffit files, which can be decompressed with Aladdin's Stuffit Expander. If Stuffit Expander isn't installed your computer, you'll need to configure it before downloaded updates to Clients & Profits X. To download files from the Clients & Profits X web site, simply click on the link and the file will download automatically to your hard drive. Once the download is complete, double-click on it to open Stuffit Expander automatically. Once the file is unstuffed, it can be moved into your C&P X folder and used.

Downloading Windows files:

Windows files on the Clients & Profits X web site are Zip archives that can be decompressed using PKZip or WinZip. To download files from the Clients & Profits X website, simply click on the link and select "Save file/link to disk" from the pop-up menu that appears in your browser. Select where you want to save the file on your hard drive, and the file will download to your disk. When download is complete, double-click on the zipped file and PKZip will decompress the file for you.

Viewing and downloading Adobe Acrobat PDF files

Documentation, newsletters, and other high-resolution files (called "PDFs" to describe "portable document format" files) on the Clients & Profits X website are viewable using Acrobat Reader, which is available for Mac and Windows. The Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free from the Adobe web sit. To view the PDF files within your browser, simply click on the link and the Acrobat Reader Plug-in will read the file in your browser when download is complete. To save the PDF file to your disk, click on the link and select "Save file/link to disk" from the pop-up menu that appears in your browser. Select where you want to save the file on your hard drive, and the file will download to your disk. Then, you may simply double-click the file and Acrobat Reader will launch and display the PDF file. Shockwave/Flash:

Selected sales, training, and support areas of the Clients & Profits X website use Macromedia's Shockwave technology. The free Shockwave plug-in helps your browser application play high-quality animation and sound. Once the plug-in is installed in your browser, you will be able to view Shockwave-enhanced areas of the Clients & Profits web site.
